Orienteering Schools League Final – Rahlagane Primary School

The final leg of the Annual Orienteering Schools League took place on 10 May 2025 at Rahlagane Primary School. Organised by the South African Orienteering Federation (SAOF) and Polokwane Orienteering Club (POC), the event brought together learners and educators from schools in the Moutse Circuit.

The goal of the league is to introduce orienteering to learners and help train them for future competitions. Each school was represented by a group of learners, an educator, and the school principal. The event featured a cross-country navigation course that challenged participants to use specially designed maps to locate checkpoints using only their navigation skills.

The day ended with an award ceremony, recognising top performers from both Primary and High School categories.
